Import/ Export Specialist

The Import / Export Specialist is responsible for coordinating and administering the end-to-end documentation and operational processes required to move goods internationally. The role ensures all import and export activities comply with customs regulations, trade legislation, and company procedures, enabling timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods across borders. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement efficient, compliant processes for international movements - Ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations, trade controls, and HMRC requirements. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of import/export legislation, duties, VAT, and trade agreements - Facilitate the preparation and processing of import and export documentation, ensuring accurate tariff classification, customs valuation, and application of Incoterms - Build and maintain customs
