Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: - Carry out all assigned duties safely and in compliance with all statutory regulations, local procedures, and site-specific requirements. - Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Assignment Instructions, local induction training, and established site processes at all times. - Manage and monitor contractors working within the prison environment, ensuring all personnel, equipment, and tools are accounted for and controlled safely. - Control access and egress throughout the prison in accordance with SOPs and security requirements. - Complete and maintain all required documentation accurately and in line with SOP standards. - Ensure work areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and security at all times. - Identify, assess, and report potential risks or safety concerns within the workplace, taking proactive measures to maintain a safe environment. - Demonstrate and promote Securitas' Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness in all interactions and duties. - Comply with all company policies, procedures, and mandatory training requirements, ensuring safety remains a priority in all activities. - Support the safe and secure operation of the prison environment by maintaining professional standards and following established security protocols. Ideally, you’ll have: - SIA Licence - Excellent organisational and time management skills. - Demonstrable experience of delivering a high standard of customer service. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently using own initiative and work effectively as part of a team. - Honest, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information with discretion. - Able to provide a 5-year checkable employment and/or education history. - Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle. - Willing and able to successfully complete required vetting, including: Level 2 Home Office Enhanced Vetting, Enhanced DBS Check, National Security CTC Clearance (depending on location this may vary) - Previous experience working within a prison, custodial, or secure environment.
