Security Operations Centre Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: - Support the delivery of security programmes through consistent, globally aligned security systems and operational practices - Monitor access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, video intercom, turnstile and associated security platforms - Respond to security system alarms, alerts and incidents in accordance with the client security standard operating procedures - Investigate security incidents and ensure they are documented and managed accurately and in a timely manner - Maintain accurate incident records, including detailed security reports and supporting documentation - Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify unsecured areas, security/safety vulnerabilities and potential hazards - Provide support to onsite facilities and operations teams during emergencies Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role. Ideally, you’ll have: - A valid SIA licence - A valid CCTV licence - Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends - Experience using CCTV and other security systems - Excellent organisation, reporting, administration skills and maintaining confidential records - Great attention to detail and experience in developing and producing accurate materials/reporting - The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history - Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
