Security Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: - Support security lodge operations, adapting to operational requirements and business needs. - Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in accordance with site procedures and client requirements. - Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. - Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate. - Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions. - Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required. - Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate. - Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions. - Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions. What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have: - Valid SIA License SG or DS. - First Aid. - Driving Licence. - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel. - Previous security experience - Good working knowledge of security operations and security systems. - Ability to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstance and events. - Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends. - The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history. - Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
