Security Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:  Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors.  Conduct regular security patrols and site inspections.  Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.  Prevent unauthorised access and maintain site security.  Manage keys, passes, and visitor access.  Respond to incidents, emergencies, and evacuations.  Report hazards, incidents, and security concerns.  Maintain accurate records, logs, and handovers.  Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and site procedures.  Support the protection of people, property, and assets. What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:  Valid SIA Licence (essential).  Minimum 2 years' Security Officer or Control Room experience.  Full UK Driving Licence (essential).  Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.  Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment and address history.  Strong written and verbal English communication skills.  Ability to obtain SC (Security Clearance).  CCTV Licence desirable.  Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.  Willing and able to conduct regular site patrols and respond to incidents as required.  Excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and a professional approach to security operations.
