Amazon's Legal Department is looking for an attorney to join our sustainability, ESG, and product safety compliance legal team supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS provides cloud computing services
Basic qualifications:
- License to practice law in Europe, US or other common law jurisdiction
- Significant legal experience with a minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification experience
- Experience providing legal counsel and support for sustainability, hardware product compliance, environmental, or similar regulatory matters
- Experience with global regulations attaching to sustainability reporting; the manufacture, sale, distribution, use, handling, and disposition of hardware products; or chemicals regulation
- Experience navigating bespoke provisions within transactions
- Demonstrated capability to work independently and make decisive legal recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide practical legal guidance in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
