The Amazon's eXperiences & Upskilling (AXU) organization is looking for a Principal Accessibility Specialist to support the AXU team in their work to ensure that the daily experiences of Amazonians and
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience delivering cross functional projects
- Significant experience in digital accessibility (evaluation, implementation, assistive technology, or accessible product/content development)
- Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.2, EN301549, and their application across web, mobile, and document formats
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and decompose complex accessibility problems into actionable guidance for non-specialists
- Track record of building organizational capability from individual expertise to embedded practice
